Fylde Borough Council are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community & Sport Development team on a full time, fixed term basis here at Fylde Borough Council in the post of Club Support Officer.

As part of your duties you will be expected to provide one to one support to clubs in all aspects of club development including national standards for clubs (Clubmark accreditation) and developing new clubs/sections for both juniors and adults. You will assist clubs and other sporting organisations to recruit and retain quality adult and young volunteers and offer support through this process.

As lead of the local sports club forum you will enable local clubs to come together and share best practice and encourage joint working and sharing of resources. The candidate will have experience of working with clubs, volunteers, coaches and officials.

As well as experience of being actively involved in the running of a sports club/organisation. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential to this role. This post will be subject to satisfactory references, Medical and CRB clearance.

Post: Club Support Officer

Salary: £15,725 - £16,830 p.a, 37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term until February 2012
